Michelle;
Be like the rest of the labor market. Downsize to reduce cost, give people multiple jobs, require people to work longer hours and reduce pay. I for one have enjoyed all this and more, as have many, in the name of corporate profits!
At one place I was given the jobs of 4 others who were let go. I had to work 20 hours a day for 7 days a week. After three months I quit. If you are an exempt employee you can be made to work for as many hours as required without additional compensation. Viva la company! This has nothing to do with .COM by the way.
There are books on the market for business owners with titles like "How to make all your employees exempt".
