No, I don't "know" all the files--I use the VFP setup wizard exclusively. But I definately know that there are way, way more than two required files :-) Others on the FP forums have mentioned that the required files are listed in the help--somewhere. Also, I've looked at the VFP COMPRESS.DBF to check out required files when something goes haywire.
