While you don't have to, you should. VFP 3.0b installs somewhat differently when installed to a 95 machine. I don't remember how exactly, but that's what MS tech support told me a long time ago when I'd a difficulty regarding something that was due to a 3.11-era VFP install on an updated 95 machine...
