We don't charge any dues because of how that changes the group legally. We'd need to be incorporated and file tax reports.. all kinds of things.
I sometimes call group members and ask them to speak on a particular topic. Occassionally they approach me. I do most of the presentations.
We get new members from a number of sources. Look at my signiture. We get mention at MS events locally and emails. Often current members bring new coworkers and clients.
