Jim, Jim, Jim....With the amount of 2.X code out there running and running well, I dont think it is dead in the front lines where microsoft has not been visiting at all. The existing applications are being placed on faster and faster computers, this is because for us computers have gotten cheaper than developer's time to redo an existing application. We have seen this error also and realize we have a problem, but it would be nice if Microsoft would respond better to this obvious black eye in one of their programs and one of their operating systems, instead of just taking the stance of 'Move on up to VFP'. Microsoft should realize that managers look at this problem and store it away in their memory and bring it out again when they make decisions on new DB technologies to procure and new systems to be developed.
