In VFP the backcolor property of commandbutton are determined by windows at CONTROL PANEL. If you want to produce diferente style buttons you might create one object that produces OPTICAL effects like we see at the web.
The most useful control to be produced in my opinion is the picture control. There is very good methods like: MOUSEUP, MOUSEMOVE, MOUSEDOWN, CLICK event and others..
just change the property .picture to produce all the results !
