I know exactly what you mean, and it's also one of my pet peeves. Sorry to hear that it's still around in VFP7. It seems to be a general VFP editor issue, not just limited to a single context. It's as though the scroll bar fails to account for the position at which you grab the slider. The position of the mouse on the slider jumps from somewhere in the middle, where you actually grabbed it, to the end, as if you had grabbed it there. This is a real annoyance. The position should not jump, as it often does, when you grab the slider.
