Actually I did mean the special effect property,
if I had set it (in the beta version) to either 2 or 1.
(hot tracking, or flat.) the actual color of the button was changed to inherit the color of the form in which it was applied.

I have since been playing arround with the colorsource, an colorscheme setting to attempt to duplicate, what was happening (in the beta release) and so far no luck. ! I cant say I have tried them all. but it appears the both the colorscheme, and Color source property dont have any effect whatsoever on the actual color of a button control. But who knows, I just may fall into it again, maybe setting all the colors to be default... and then attemping to change the colorscheme to something... anyway. Ill keep you updated if I run into anything.

thanks
Bob Lee

>Maybe Bob Lee means Special Effect = 0 - 3D, 1 - Plain, Plain meaning Flat, but command buttons always look 3D don't they, even when you choose 1 - Plain? If you lay a shape on top of them you could make them appear flat though.
In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
