Oh you can make buttons really "flat" now in VFP7 I just noticed. Set once the VisualEffect property to 0 - None at runtime. If the buttons SpecialEffect setting is 1 - Plain or 2 - Hot tracking, you'll not even see a border, just the caption. But the buttons back color isn't affected by that.

>Maybe Bob Lee means Special Effect = 0 - 3D, 1 - Plain, Plain meaning Flat, but command buttons always look 3D don't they, even when you choose 1 - Plain? If you lay a shape on top of them you could make them appear flat though.
