If all you need to do is map a drive, all you need is the server name and path to the data or whatever you are trying to access. Creating a persistent connection in the registry is the easiest way IMHO. You can do this with VFP code. Just create a mapping yourself on your own network. Then edit the registry to see where this entry is kept -- on my Win98 PC, it is in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network\Persistent. You can use the VFP registry class to create these entries for you.
