When I taught Physics in college I required my students to watch Startrek, then we'd separate science from fiction and science from fantansy. This requirement had nothing to do with the fact that I was a trekkie. My son can still recite many of the scripts verbatim, but with sometimers setting in I have trouble recalling some episodes.
