I'd install the full beta. What happens if you see something intringuing in the docs and want to look at a sample? It takes about an hour, I guess. I've installed and installed so much I've lost track. It does reboot once or twice, but you can put in your user and password and it'll reboot unattended. I think you can copy all the CDs to your harddrive for even more automation.

FWIW, I don't install a lot of it. For example, I didn't install the VC or VB components.
