Doing so would require my users to have MS Word installed (many of my users already have Word, but requiring non-Word users to buy Word is not going to go over very well). But lets say for a second that we force that requirement on them. How simple/difficult is it to get Word to achieve the functionality of the VFP report writer? I have a very complex report that is already written in the report writer and have no clue how I could generate the report Word.
Is it strictly programmatic (which is how it was done using SET DEVICE TO PRINTER and @SAY's before I switched it over to the Report Writer)? Can you create a Word template and somehow use that? I've done very little with automating Word and am definitely not a Word app expert to begin with. Any examples or web sites that you could point me to?
