This message has been marked as the solution to the initial question of the thread.
You do not use the Visual Foxpro data type now that you copied the file to a TYPE FOX2X. In CR, go into the Data Explorer and go under Database Files, not ODBC. Hopefully when you installed CR you picked the dBase file type, or did a complete install. If you did that, you should eb able to browse and fined the revisedapps.dbf file wherever your app saved it.
If you do any grouping in Crystal, here's a little gotcha that had me confused - CR defaults to sorting on the grouped field. Assuming you have the data sorted and grouped by your SELECT in VFP, you have to change that under the Change Group Options to 'in original order' to prevent your sort orders from getting messed up.

>Randy: Now that Revisedapps is a table (it is not a table thats is physically stored in my data directory - and I use all free tables in my application) - the big question is how do I get Crystal Report (CR) to see this table. Using the report expert in CR, how do I now see the "Revisedapps" table under Visual Foxpro Tables in the Data Explorer or CR.
