Well, you should look at a couple of things. Straight code will probably be the least of your problems although some controls behave differently. However, you may want to apply proper/better OOP design when you do the conversion. OOP concepts as spelled out by Egger with VFP6 were all new concepts when VFP3 arrived. You wouldn't be doing yourself any favors by doing an upgrade without thoroughly reviewing the class hierarchy, use of prgs vs vcx, COM, scalability, etc. You could start by doing a UML diagram of the current system then start asking yourself where can we improve this thing. From there you could do some metrics to come up with some measures of what it will take in man hours to do a proper conversion.
