A.P.I.C.S. sells the books, probably the best on the subject. You can always go to google.com and do a search on 'inventory control' and see what pops up.
One title that you might look for:
'Production and Inventory Management In The Computer Age' by Oliver Wight. It's a bit dated but still a valuable source of info.
Librarys may have a selection in the business section too.
