I would like to use views but the problem is that local views are not shareable accross the network.

I would use remote views but I am connecting to a visual foxpro database and one of the parameters for the connection string i.e database is not yielding any result. Everytime I specify the database i.e.

myvar =SQLSTRINGCONNECT('dsn=mydatasource;DATABASE=\mynetworkpath\mydatabase')

I always get a dialogue box that prompts me to specify the path for the data source.

I don't want to go to every workstation specifying the ODBC connection thing. I would like to connect to the database at run time.

Any ideas?
