One more note. Just noticed this your statement and I do not agree with it. You can make a VFP database, put it in the shared folder on your files server and then many users can open that database in shared mode and use local views from it. Of course, for sure, users cannot create views or change their properties in run-time in a shared mode, but they always can use them. So better do not spend time on the mess related to the conencting to VFP databse through ODBC.
