>Thanks Nancy. For now I'll just work around it by building the setup on my notebook and copying to the LAN. This client's head of IT really likes Novell 3.21 and I'll admit it's been very dependable for them. He also believes strongly in the "if it's not broken don't fix it" adage. For years now, I've been the only one complaiing about it so I've simply have had to adjust. Now that the firm is developing an Internet presence, it's becoming more difficult and I'm guessing it will soon inconvenience other folks as well.
Boy, I sympathize. FWIW, 3.12 was (is!) solid. I can understand the IT's reluctance (well, sort of *g*). The thing that pushed my company into agreeing to install the snap in (gad, this was in 94? Something like that) was that I got a contract to do a VFP for the Mac project, so we needed it to support a Mac. Good excuse.
Anyway, good luck.
