>Got the updated source from MicroMega which is 2.x code but somehow tweaked to work under VFP. It did not seem to have a lot of changes (they call it FF30v6) from looking at the file dates. Am having "funny" problems (inconsistent ones, hard to track). Has anyone successfully done this or do I bite the bullet and get their newest (supposedly) VFP rewritten source and give that a try?

I have a client that's been using 3.0+ for several years now.
The new version (I don't remember what they call it) is written in VFP though, at least the interface is, and is much nicer. I don't know if the newer version will fix your problems, but it is worth the upgrade, IMO.
