Q282047>We are experiencing crashes while developing VFP 7.0 reports. The following crash has happened several times on both Win 98SE and Win XP RC2 machines:
>
> - modify a report (reports in question were originally created in VFP 7)
> - click the 'X' close button, which should prompt to save the report
> - instead, VFP 7.0 disappears completely... no error message
> - all changes are lost

>Both of these crashes are intermittent... the correct behaviour does happen more often than not. But, in one afternoon, 4 crashes on one PC and 1 crash on another PC. Should we go back to VFP 6 and wait for a service pack before using 7? Brings back bad memories of how much VFP 6 crashed before several service packs came out. If memory serves, VFP 6 finally became stable 1 year after its original release (was that SP3?).
