"To share information relating to Visual Foxpro (VFP), noting VFP's strengths (and weaknesses), helping to expose it's advantages in business to all, and continue support for its development and usage."

If this statment can be improved, by all means, your ideas are welcome. <g>
I expect to hold the inaugural meeting in October or November of this year, meeting quarterly at first. I want this to be a collective, open effort, so all parties and backgrounds, opinions and ideas are welcome.

I also expect to develope a website for the UG's information also by year's end if we get enough interest.
