Fred,
I can make it happen every time. Here's the command sequence in the Command Window right after starting up VFP7:
SET DEFAULT TO c:\vfpmisc
USE bigindex
ATAGINFO(axa,"","bigindex")
DISPLAY MEMORY LIKE ax*
---- at this point I can reissue DISPLAY... as often as I want and see the stuff flow by and end up with a blank area.
"bigindex" is a table with 5 TAGs, all "regular" and none with FOR clauses.
Note that if I repeat this sequence, including restarting VFP, BUT put a "?" in front of the ATAGINFO() statement, then all is well. (this is what I tried to say in my update).
Cheers
