Every 10 mins a procedure automatically ftps files with the same name but different extension to a directory, and then uses the sys(2000) command to identify the first file. The file is then encrypted, emailed and deleted, then the next file would be found using the sys(2000) command. This worked fine until the customer had a virus problem. This was sorted and all exe's and dll's were replaced. However, the procedure now only picks up the first file, which it emails, deletes etc, but doesn't find the next file.

Steve,

I would check out the directory, make sure there aren't any wierd files in there.. maybe with no fielname or no extension or a Zero length etc.

If you can't get the sys2000 working then you could try doing the same thing with aDir()
