Dear Friends,

From past 5 years i have been developing in VFP using all kind of backend. Being in IT i know VB too.

I own a team of 18 Soft. Professional out of them 14 knows VB and only 4 knows VFP. Recently got a large project which needs me to analyze and be an integrated part of the project.


Now whether it should be VB or VFP.


Hell lot of problems with VB which my professional are not able to solve even if i immitate in VFP.

VB needs a third party tool to implement small small things and which tool to select is always a question as new versions keep dropping in.(never forget the cost factor too)


Please suggest how to proceed and what to decide.

I'll be happy if this chat really results with some benchmark too prove the solution. Kind Attn : to all who have worked on both platforms.
