Ken (and fellow VFP community),
IMHO, naming a product after a location sounds too corporate, too politically correct, .... and just plain b-o-r-i-n-g.
Thor. Viper. Hailstorm (a great example of a codename). These are names with energy and excitement. Names that express passion. Names with momentum. Names associated with action. Names with an EDGE!
Thor - god of thunder and lightning - representing strength, passion, and determination. These qualities speak to the heart of what makes VFP and the VFP community so unique and special.
While Zorro seems to be popular, its too 'safe', too mainstream, too sugary, too Disney for my tastes. IMO, the mainstream, sugary, Disney qualities speak more to a VB audience than a VFP audience.
My final arguement in favor of Thor - in a 'Celebrity Death Match', Thor would kick Zorro's ass, hands-down.
Anyway, my 0.02 cents from NJ,
Malcolm
