I looked at the SCX, but actually, you'd already scoped out the problem. That the Objname is blank and the class, too...not .NULL. but actually has blanks...those records are toast.

Out of curiousity does the form work alright? Or do the mystery records represent controls that the form should have had? It would be nice if the corruption was just some errant extra records and otherwise your form is in tact.

Don't suppose the old computer was replaced because it had a failing harddrive or something like that?

IAC, you may never know why. But SCXs (VCX, FRX, DBC too) are just tables, so are prone to the same corruption tables are prone to.
