Share the CD-RW drive, and address the file by UNC. No drive mapping, no fuss; if the UNC is legal, then you have access to it. WSH can do the rest, and you've gotta have WSH 2.0 or better since you have Win2K, or can add it (see my sig block if you're bored.)
