Put it this way, if your customer/user asked "What advantages does VB have over VFP?", you will find that the answer would be "none".
I have used VB - but only briefly, so I'm a bit biast towards the Fox because I'm used to it, but:
a) VFP's has it's own data-engine so there's no need for ODBC connections etc. slowing you down - and (as you probably now) it's extremely quick at manipulating data
b) It's more OO than VB
c) From what I've heard, a VFP app is produced more than twice as quickly as a VB app (but that's only what I've heard)
