Renoir,

One that's caught me before is DESC - at the time intended to be an abreviation for DESCRIPTION, but caused obscure errors in SQL statements parsing for the DESCENDING keyword...

Cheers,

Andrew

>One of my clients insists that Reserved Words are not a problem when used as field names in tables/views. I have have demonstrated to him one solid example, but he says that was just a fluke and likely wasn't related to the Reserved Word issue. What I would like to do is give him some history from those of you here that have had this type of problem. Whether it's an example, an opinion or simply a redirect to related messages doesn't matter - as long as I can have something other than my own experience to use. Thanks!

If we were to introduce Visual FoxBase+, would we be able to work from the dotNet Prompt?
