Hi folks,

I've run across something that I'm attempting to determine whether or not is a bug or a change in behavior.

1. USE a table
2. BROWSE the table
3. type 'CTRL+F' to open the search dialog. Enter a value you know exists more than once.
4. Find the first occurrance.
5. Type ESC to exit the Search Dialog.
6. Type CTRL+G

Observed behavior: I start deleting as many characters as are selected rather than finding the next occurance.

I've checked the behavior in prior versions and CTRL+G ALWAYS executes a 'Find Next'. Now it deletes information.

This represents either a change or a bug. I have checked through the help file for an entry on this without success. Craig Berntson and I were discussing this last night and he thought that perhaps this behavior had been changed to make VFP more 'Windowsy' but was unaware of any specific mentions of a change. As I mentioned, I have also searched the new help file without finding anything that mentions this specific change.

I think this is a bug but am certainly willing to be dissuaded.

Any thoughts?
Best,

DD
