Thanks for the pointer. Obviously, implementing "notes inheritance" is not trivial, though I have to agree with Jim, that VFP is not handling sufficiently the existence of code in the parent class. Referring to my original message, I think that in the instance method there should be at least something like "hey dude, there's code in the parent class method!"
