Years ago a co-worker asked me for some help with his Fortran program. When he gave me the listing all I found for memvar names were things like "four-of-diamonds", "jack-of-clubs", "nine-of-spades" etc (deck of cards). So there would be statements like
For x= queen-of-hearts to ace-of-spades
seven-of-clubs = three-of-hearts + king-of-diamonds

I told him to find someone else to ask.
