Speaking only for myself. . .
It is an affable gesture by Ken and one that obviously caught the imagination of much of the community. I dare say that he calculated that it would, too.
So the offer was not so much "important" as it was interesting and gratifying.
However, there was an apparent attempt to "rig the voting" and, this not being Florida, that did become an important issue to many of us.
I believe that the voting is now back on track and I hope that we succeed in giving Ken what he asked for.
By the way, these code names do have a kind of "permanence" in that they are not generally reused.
