The software I write prints out a lot of different labels. Some of the labels are freeform (ie, the user can enter anything he wants to in the fields for it), and usually the data they enter is in columns. Well, the font I'm using on the labels is porportional, so of course the columns don't like up at all when it prints out. I want to change the labels so that they have a fixed, or non-porportional font. The only "universal" fixed font that I could think of is FixedSys (I checked, yup, it's the only one). Well, that's all well and good, except FixedSys is NOT listed in the list of the fonts I can use on my reports!

I tried using some printer specific fonts, but of course those don't work on every single printer that my users have (They got some WEIRD looking labels when I did this).

Has anyone else encountered this problem before? Any tips/hints/solutions out there?
