Thank you Ken, for allowing the FP community to get "involved" in this most visible manner. I have often thought that this product more than any other in the MS catalog has a cult following which will conserve it, preserve it, and improve it. I cannot speak for anyone other than myself but I identify with FoxPro. I am a FoxPro programmer. Sure I have programmed successfuly in a host of other languages but the one which has become a part of my personna is FoxPro, not so much because of the elegance or style of FoxPro but of the POWER richness and versatility. I am also impressed with this community of developers as represented by those who frequent this and many other sites. Rarely do you see competitive bickering but more often generous assistance. MVP or not, everyone tries to help one another in this brotherhood of FoxPro.

This is truly a rare fellowship bound by our professional choice of tools. And it is the Tool which provides the cohesive element that encourages fellowship among this international community of people with shared experiences.

I am proud to be a VISUAL FOXPRO developer.

>I am proud to announce that the FoxPro community has selected the name Toledo to be the code name of 'your' next version of Visual FoxPro. Visual FoxPro 7.0 is now available and encourage everyone to upgrade to VFP7 now. VFP7 has a great set of new features and is the most stable version of Visual FoxPro ever released.
