What about CURSORGETPROP('Database', tablealias)?

Unfortunately, it requires this table to be open...

I've just opened a DBF file in WordPad and found JobControl.dbc at some place. So, I guess, you can do DBFTxt=filetostr("mydbf.dbf"), then search for ".dbc" extension.

What do you think?
