I have form Statistics in Download. The syntax differs from messagebox (though it's easy enough to add a wrapper function) and I use it for display messages only (no return value). I added a Print functionality. See, if you like it. I use it widely for displaying different statistics messages and it works fine. I made couple minor enhancements in my current version.
