Hi Grigore

Thanks for your reply. I should elaborate a little. There is an option into Paint under the “Image” option that says “Draw Opaque”, I’ve used this before to turn regular bitmaps transparent and successfully used the for VFP command buttons, etc.

I though that by doing this and then opening it with a shareware downloaded utility and saving it again as .ico, I would get a transparent background icon.

Could you recommend me any utility to get the transparency?

Can this be done with the regular utilities included whit W’2000 and VFP
