I tried Q136638 and it worked flawlessly on the network at our office (NT Server 4, SBS 4.0a). We have Exchange installed and running but are not actually using it.
I then tried the same code on a standalone workstation with Outlook Express installed and an error '0x800401f3 invalid class string' error occurred.
The code that I require must be compatible with both Outlook (from Office 97) and Express (5.x).
I have a deadline of Friday, next week.
Any help is appreciated.


>I've done it in MAPI. Microsoft has two articles on it. Article ID: Q136638 has examples that use MAPI. Article ID: Q175052 uses CDO to do the same thing. The problem I just ran into is that Outlook 2000 needs Idispatch to connect with. I'm still trying to solve that. Good luck.
