Short answer is, AFAIK, no, unfortunately. Our debug info option only compiles in the code we write.

Symbolic debug info, if I have this right, is basically the mapping between high level language and machine code that a compiler writes out.

It's sort of astounding to me that an MS support person is asking you for something he or she should (?) know about since it is their product to support. But that doesn't help you, I know.
