Joe,

I cannot claim to be an expert, but I *have* purchased Visual MaxFrame Professional, Mere Mortals, and CodeMine and have evaluated them as much as I have been able, so I can make the following comments with some basis:

1) VMP. It does a lot for you, at the price of speed. Previous versions have not addressed 3-tier, but that is being addressed with the new one now in development.

2) MM. It is designed with 3-tier and browser based applications in mind, but I find that you have to do a lot of things in a seemingly rudimentary way (I mean validations, particularly).

3) CM. It runs *very* fast and I like their code, frankly. Version 7 (in beta) addresses middle tier in a more generally accepted way (business object like). It does take getting used to, although I suppose they all do. They answer your e-mail questions quickly, but I wish there was training available.

After paying for all three, I have chosen CM, for whatever my opinion is worth.

Alex
