I'm curious as to what they actually used. Most likely sometype of really hard plastic or ...?

In any case, its amazing that people are considering this "Highly strategic" and you need lots and lots of money to pull this off.

I think I could do somethign like this. Get on a mostly empty plane, over power the flight attendant, bust in the cockpit, tell the pilot to get out the way, point teh plane at something you want to blow up, and boom.

What was amazing was how well they navigated the craft (found there target that is, from what my buddy pilot says, anyone could fly a plane that was already at a good cruising alititude), not that they could actually get on the plane and take it over.

As for getting in the pilots seat, I can imagne the pilots of the first two planes had no clue where they were gonna be flown, and probably gave up pretty passivly, in the interest of their and their passenger's safety.

And the 4th plane that didn't hit a target, the pilot of that plane should be given hero status in America, and his familiy rewarded. He probably knew of what went on by that point, and as soon as he realized he was being taken over, brought the plane to an uninhabited field. Thats an American!
