is the "FIELDTERMINATOR" clause required in bulk insert? i'm asking because i'm trying to bulk insert a text file which has no delimiter at all. if I attempt not to include the field delimeter clause, i got this error "could not bulk insert because column too long in data file."

any suggestion...
