>>We have a VFP 5 app that we would like to put under WTS. This would mean displaying data from various different sources with different codepages depending on the client accessing the app. Is it possible in VFP 7 to display such data correctly when the system codepage (ACP) value is set to something different.

>In VFP you can tag any table with a CODEPAGE. VFP will know how to display the information. For more details about VFP international capabilities you mitght want to visit

José,
This is not the case. Although I do not dispute the fact that you can tag the table with a code page, it is also necessary to correct regional setting for the system local to be installed, the correct .nls files. Otherwise, the characters used in the upper set will not be the same and it is impossible for VFP to translate correctly.
What we want to be able to do is for a Russian user to see Russian, Greeks see greek and so forth. While it is possible to see English + another, it is not possible to see all three.
Our app works fine on OS where the underlying codepage is set correctly, but when running the App against a Russian database where the OSs underlying codepage is 1252 say, then all they will see is funny squiggles or question marks.
Some Apps can support multiple code-pages but not VFP6 and below, which is why I was inquiring about VFP7.
