From one very frustrated Rayna on her last resort before comp goes out on main st
After my reformat, I was reinstalling all the (few) games I had, and today I decided to play some....typical normal thing to do right.
Wrong, directX decides to be a b!tch.
Error message reads: Unable to create DirectDraw surface. Make sure you have installed DirectX then, try again.
It is installed....I have tried removing and re installing...to no prevail.
and if you go to run, then "dxdiag" I get one of those blue screen errors quoting; Error: OE:0028:0070042B"
Basically I am getting annoyed...someone told me to reformat but no, I am not going to do that again so soon after doing it the other day....I would rather watch my computer get hit by a car.....please get back to me asap with any revelations you may have...I'm counting on you....my computers life is counting on you.
Regards.
Rayna
