With great indifference we can push one button and the world will cease to exist. I am convinced this will occur someday due to the nature of man. It is only a matter of time before something worse occurs. A few vials of bacteria in the nations water system and we are all dead.

Agreed. Dragan's message was IMO quite clear-headed.

Personally, as I had mentioned in another thread, I think we should change our national policy towards assasination. IMO we should very publicly state that we will now fight 'Terror' by assasinating the heads of any and all groups that publicly or privately fund, support, condone or otherwise encourage act like yesterday's. If they want a war let's take it to those who perpetrate terror and do everything in our power to avoid hurting the innocents at the same time we ruthlessly go after the leaders.

I remember an anecdotal story about some events that happened in Lebanon a few years back. Some Russians were kidnapped by some terrorists (thugs really). They were essentially attempting to 'shake down' the Russians. Well, the Russians found out who they were, went and took a couple of them, cut off their testicles, sewed them in their mouths, shot them and delivered them back with a note that essentially said, "Go ahead, keep doing what you want and we'll keep doing this - or return our diplomats before nightfall." They diplomats were immediately returned.

Apparently some only understand the logic that eminates from the blunt end of a stick.

This is all very sad. As a Christian I desire to treat all with God's love. I also understand that this is not the waty this world works at present.. :<
