Thanks for the ideas. We were actually having a similar problem when trying to print using SET RESOURCE and GENPD.APP. We were finally able to fix that problem, but we had to go into GENPD.APP with a hex editor and find the links which had been embedded into the file.
Microsoft sure gave us some fun ones here.
