I wish! We've been paying $1.75. As of this morning, it hadn't gone up. Rumors of down-staters paying $4+! Gov Ryan is mad! Our local news (WGN 9) had a representative from the IL Petroleum Retailers, I think, and they laid into him! It was great! There's talk of bringing charges on the gougers. I hope so!

>What's everyone seeing in terms of the price of gas. Here, yesterday at 8 AM it was $1.25 for regular unleaded. To-day it's $1.33. I've heard stories of $4-$5 per gallon in some places.
