2 suggestions:
1. Make sure that the controls are not disabled and not readonly during edit mode. Thisform.YourTextBox.Enabled = .T., Thisform.YourTextBox.ReadOnly = .F.
2. Make sure that your pointer is not pointing at the end-of-file.
